Nutrition Research Institute
 Home

Welcome to the web site of the Nutrition Research Institute in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

This site will introduce you to the research, staff, activities, and purpose of the Nutrition Research Institute (NRI). Part of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, the NRI uses the new sciences of nutrigenomics and metabolomics to explore nutritional individuality—what makes one person's metabolism and nutrient requirements different from another. It's an exciting and useful new area of research, and we're glad to share our progress with you through this web site. If you still have questions after visiting our site, please feel free to contact us.

Our Board of Advisors

A distinguished Board of Advisors is working diligently to position the NRI for continued growth and achievement. The board is comprised of an elite group of individuals from across the state of North Carolina with a broad range of experience and a common goal of elevating the NRI to world class stature.
